Your number stays yours
Business numbers in Jamaica can move between providers. When you switch to us we move — “port” — your existing numbers, so customers keep calling the number they already know. If you ever leave, you take them with you, with no exit fee for the port itself.
How the move works
- We audit what you have: every number, the account it sits on, and your current contract and notice period.
- You send us what the port request needs: account holder name, account number, a recent bill, signed authorisation — confirm the list.
- We file the request with your current carrier — usually Flow or Digicel — and chase it until it's accepted.
- You pick the cutover date and time window. Your old lines stay live in parallel until the new service is proven.
- On the day, calls to your numbers start ringing on your new system.
How long it takes
Usually 20 business days from a complete request. The date is yours to set — nothing cuts over until you say so.
What can slow a port down
Common reasons a port is delayed, e.g. details on the request not matching the carrier's records — confirm with your porting team
Don't cancel your old service first
Keep your current account active until we confirm the move is complete. Cancelling early can release the number before it has been ported.
